According to the Federal Highway Administration, there are more than 164,000 miles of highways in the United States, and those who have FedEx truck jobs in Los Angeles, CA, have the opportunity to travel many of them. Of course, what we at Armada Trucking consider the best and what we consider our least favorite routes are dependent somewhat on the weather and the season. While most folks doing FedEx driving jobs in Los Angeles, CA, enjoy seeing the fall foliage of America’s beautiful Northeast corridor, few people love the traffic congestion on those highways when the snow is flying. Here, we’ve compiled a short list of some of the best routes to drive in the U.S.
Kansas Route 66
Famed Route 66 Highway cuts through a tiny piece of Kansas’ southeastern corner, but travelers along that classic route immediately recognize a slice of Americana. With scenes reminiscent of the Disney film “Cars,” travelers on this portion of highway that runs between Galena, Kansas, and Baxter Springs, Kansas, enjoy an easy drive.
Maine Park Loop Road
This scenic pass takes drivers smack dab through the middle of one of Maine’s loveliest portions—Acadia National Park. The 27-mile road winds through the park’s lakes, mountains, high cliffs, and rocky shores. Lined with the brilliant colors of fall in the East Coast, the picturesque drive has a number of special observation points and special parking areas. Only a small portion of the road has two-way lanes.
Minnesota Highway 61
